Things start on a sour note for the Gilmore girls. Rory’s decision to not go back to Yale drove her and Lorelai appart for some time. Rory now finds herself living with her grandparents, under Emily’s watchfull eye, while Lorelai buys herself a small Paul Anka. Luke gets an unexpected visitor and finds out he has a daughter he never knew about. This news becomes an obstacle in his engagement with Lorelai.
