After getting back together with Dean, Rory is more than ever geared towards her goal: attending Harvard University. It gets harder to concentrate once Jess, Luke’s rebellious nephew, arrives in Stars Hollow. He shares Rory’s love for books and taste in music. Dean has some competition. Lorelai’s engagement to Max lasts for a little while, after which she decides that he’s not the man for her. Her friendship with Luke deepens, as they get to know more of each other, at the diner, or under a hoopa.

season 2 of gilmore girls was really a good season because it show the mixed feeling rory had for dean and jess and there was alot of good esp of rory and jess and also gilmore girls,
This in my opinion is the best season. We see Rory change and her emotions go from one boy to another. She used to be madly in love with Dean but once she sees Jess she cant help but like him. They start seeing each other and even hanging out which just brings them closer. They are the perfect couple. The best scene in all 7 seasons is at Sookie’s wedding when they see each other and then kiss.
I have that whole scene memorized. Season 2 rocks!
