A Tisket, A Tasket episode #2.13 | written by Elise |
Elise's Comment: "A tisket, a tasket, I dropped my yellow basket..." Like the old song, this episode is very funny. However, it doesn't feature the best Dean performance. I find him to be jealous and controling. Who is he to tell Rory what to do? Not that I'm a big Jess/Rory fan, but the way Dean acted made me realize how he might not be right for Rory. Returning to the actual auction, its a cute concept. How stressed Lorelai looks when those "mystery men" are bidding on her basket and when she rushes to get Luke... And how cute Sookie and Jackson are while eating their yummy lunch (basket included) - I can't believe they're engaged! I'm glad Rory found someone (Jess) with whom she shares this love for reading. Are the writers really interested in creating a relationship there? Favourite scene: when Rory calls Jess @ the end.
Luke: You’re Miss Flexibility over here?
Lorelai: Hey, I can be flexible.
Luke: Please.
Lorelai: I can. As long as everything is exactly the way I want it, I’m totally flexible.
