Run Away Little Boy
episode #2.09 | written by Elise

WB Summary: When Rory and Tristan are cast as Romeo and Juliet in a school play, a jealous Dean insists on attending every rehearsal, forcing Rory to beg Tristan not to tell Dean about the time they shared a kiss, while Lorelai has to put up with Luke's teasing after she dates a much younger guy.

Elise's Comment: The word FUNNY can very well resume this episode. First of all, the play. I can't believe how badly Paris is devoted to her school work. I mean, did you see her in the Romeo uniform? Pretty extreme. Then there is Brad, who desperately does not want to play Romeo. I just can't seem to forget his "Tristan, come back!" The costume Lorelai made for Rory is very nice. Just a comment. Then there is Lorelai's date, which looked strangely familiar. It is so funny when he arrives at Luke's with his parents... as if they are visiting a zoo. Maybe not the best episode of the season, but as mentionned, very funny.

Sookie: Oh honey, look at you! You look like a princess! Doesn't she look like a princess?
Dean: Yeah, she looks beautiful.
Rory: Mom made the dress.
Lorelai: Not to mention the girl inside it.
Rory: Hello, gross.
