WB Summary: Newly retired Richard is driving Emily crazy, so Lorelai is coerced into taking her father for a day in Stars Hollow, where he proceeds to drive both Lorelai and Rory batty while criticizing every aspect of their lives and refusing to let Rory accept the car that Dean has built for her.

Elise's Comment: It was funny to see Emily in such a state. However, I must agree with her that water aerobics classes are not quite Richard's thing. I was so mad when he started criticising Lorelai and her eating habbits, then Lorelai and her work outfit, then Lorelai and her judgements concerning the car, then Lorelai... [you get the picture?] I am glad she told him. Then there's Paris, who always knows how to panic in "extreme situations". She did, however, uncover the case of the weird video store. Is it just me or Kirk seems to work about everywhere in SA? Coming back to the video store, I can not forget to mention the Rory curtain. How lucky she is to be an icon of censorship! I conclude with Dean's gift. Wow, he is talented! Does this mean we won't be seeing Rory taking the bus anymore?

No, being the poster girl for censorship is not a little funny. The only videos not behind that curtain are Bambi and Dumbo. I mean, they actually had a meeting earlier about whether or not Babe should be behind the curtain so as not to offend people who keep kosher.
