WB Summary: While Rory struggles to keep the budding rivalry between Dean and Jess under control, Lorelai invites most of the citizens of Stars Hollow to an elaborate feast complete with Elizabethan costumes and horse-drawn sleigh rides, during which Richard announces to Emily that he has retired.

Elise's Comment: A+ That's what I give this episode. The whole dinner idea is very original, and an excuse to see the whole town in one room. Poor Lane, she always has her strict mother by her side. We once again see Dean's sister... in her pretty Walmart dress. And I can not forget Luke, who came with Jess. How can I forget the sleigh ride he takes with Rory... and the look they exchange at the end? Not that I want Rory to dump Dean for him, I'm just anxious to see where it all leads. Returning to the dinner, Lorelai and Sookie did an amazing job. Only Paris can find something wrong. And then Richard went and shocked everyone - especially Emily - with his retirement. I'm glad they make up at the end. Oh, and I should mention that my satelite lost its signal for about 2 minutes in the middle of the show... which made me panic (just ask my sister... hihi).

Rory: Mom!
Lorelai: What honey?
Rory: You put the picture of the ugly baby in my bed?
Lorelai: I didn't, I swear. That ugly baby is stalking us. Run away!
