Elise's Comment:

This is episode was more of a season-filler, as I like to call them. Nothing major happens... it's just filled with random events, to fill the time between the big events.

I find that the character of Lorelai is being portrayed as being imature. Talking during the lecture, writing fake names... There's a line between being free spirited and imature. The writers sometimes cross that line I find.

Did you see how Luke agreed to date that woman, without hesitation? He used to need a lot of motivation. Is he over Lorelai, or trying hard to get over Lorelai? I like the relationship that's developping between April and Luke. I like that she's calling him "dad".

The development between Kirk and Lulu gave me a feeling that they'll get married by the end of the season. I don't really know where that feeling came from...

As mentionned on the Forum, I also got the impression that the vegetable guy will be back. He had way too much personality to be a temporary character (although the swim coach and the welcoming-girl at Yale were as enthousiastic).

Although I enjoyed watching the episode, it will never be included in my list of favourites. There were no big developments. Grade: C
