Rory is accepted to Chilton Private School. Lorelai announces the good news at the Independence Inn; actually, it is Sookie who gives the big news. The tuition is higher than Lorelai expected, so she must turn to her estranged parents for financial support. The price: weekly dinners.
Rory receives her acceptance letter.
Lorelai must find a way to finance Rory's studies.
