1.09 Rory's Dance: Rory attends her first dance with Dean
The Chilton Formal is coming up and Rory doesn't feel like going. Lorelai convinces her to go and makes her a dress. Now all that Rory needs is to ask Dean to accompany her. An excited Emily comes over on the night of the dance. The dance proves to be entertaining, with an angry Paris (with her cousin) and a jealous Tristan. Dean officially becomes Rory's boyfriend. They accidentally fall asleep in Miss Patty's studio, and Rory must face the music at home.
