1.09 Rory's Dance: Emily takes care of a hurt Lorelai
Lorelai hurt her back while working on Rory's dress. The night of Rory's dance, Emily comes over for the preparations and stays to care for Lorelai. She makes her banana on toast, they watch a movie and spend some time bonding (very surprising). Unfortunately, things turn sour when Rory doesn't come home and Emily starts accusing Lorelai of not raising her daughter properly.
