WB Summary: When Rory neglects to tell Lorelai that she experienced her first kiss with Dean, Lorelai tries to overcome her hurt feelings and prove she's fine with their relationship by inviting Dean over to watch videos, a move that humiliates Rory.

Elise's Comment: Another episode I've seen many times. It's the sweetest. Hilarious scenes include: one involving Lorelai, Mrs Kim and a growing rocking chair; one with Rory runing through the streets with a box of corn starch; another with Lorelai telling Rory about the kissing on General Hospital; and one involving Lorelai and Luke spying on Dean in the market. One, however, tops them all: Rory saying thank you after Dean kissed her. How sweet!

Luke: No tip?
Lorelai: Here's a tip: serve your customers.
Luke: Here's another: don't sit on any cold benches

Mrs Kim (to Rory): Who kissed you?
Lane: Umm.. the.. lord Mamma.

Lorelai: No, I know. I came to pick up that rocker that I bought a couple weeks ago.
Mrs Kim: Six weeks ago.
Lorelai: Oh, well, OK. Well, that's a couple times three. That's six. (no response) Math humor. Not big with a lot of people. Don't feel bad.

Lorelai: Well you have your basics: microwave for popcorn, stove for storing shoes, refrigerator, which is completely worthless.
Dean: Interesting.
[touring the house with Dean]

Rory: That's my mom.
Dean: She's got energy.
Rory: Yeah well she's 90% water, 10% caffeine.
