Save the Girls was created in December 2000. Its goal was to promote the new drama Gilmore Girls to the fans of my then regularly-visited 7th Heaven website. Looking back, we all know how successfull Gilmore Girls has become, not only in North American but all around the world. The site became Little Corner of the World in the Fall of 2001, during the second season of the show. It since has the goal of collecting memories from each episode. The title is inspired by the song "Our Little Corner of the World" which was featured on two episodes of Gilmore Girls during the first season. In November 2005, eFanGuide rewarded the website with its very own domain name. The site is now called Gilmore Memories, although I still like to use the subtitle "Little Corner of the World".
