In her own words...

My first episode of Gilmore Girls was "The Deer Hunters". I fell in love with the show instantly. I was 17 years old back then and felt like the show had been written for me. My favourite season still remains the first one (2000-2001). The tone and ambiance are unique to the show and set that season appart from the others. "Cinnamon's Wake" is on my personnal favourites list. I remember watching it on a Friday night, with an ear infection, sitting on the couch wearing my big cat slippers. I'm glad Gilmore Girls had the opportunity to grow as a show and last for so many seasons. The audience grew as well, which is amazing. Although, being one of the few who watched the show in my entourage, during the first season, made it so special.

Creative. I started creating websites in 1997. Back then it was a small "homepage" that contained a little bit of everything. Then came my big success "Elise's 7th Heaven Page". I had it for 5 years, and during its peak, it attracted more than a thousand visitors per day. "Gilmore Memories" is the online achievement for which I am most proud of. My goal was to create a website that was different from the others... a site that would send that Stars Hollow vibe present on the show. I've added bits and pieces as the years went by. It grew from a small website promoting the show, to a large one that contains seven seasons' worth of memories. When it comes to creativity, I also enjoy music, the arts, journalism and literature.

Organized. Yes, I am. I'm somewhat of a Monica ("Friends") for that. An organized room reflects an organized spirit, and vice versa. I studied Psychology and Communications in University. I also took French and English literature classes on the side. I am currently in Teacher's College, studying to become a teacher in a french school, qualified to teach from grades 4 to 10. It's a challenge, but I love it. I've been working with children for more than 5 years now, teaching classes at the community centre on Saturday mornings and working as a summer camp counsellor. Yes, I am francophone first and bilingual second.

Passionate. When I like something, I dive right in. And I talk about it a lot. Just ask my friends and family. Speaking of which, I am a student who still lives at home with her parents and her younger sister. I used to have a bichon-frise (dog) but she passed away in January 2006. With age (because I am so old, lol!) I realize who friendships are precious and a lot of work. As space and time seperates you, it gets harder to maintain those strong links you used to share. You maintain a few, let some slide. It's not easy. But you meet new people constantly, which is a relief. I also have that special someone, that guy that answers the phone late at night to hear my latest horror story (like the time I thought I had lost three library books... for an organized person like me, it was a complete disaster. hihi.). He's also the one who, on our first dates, heard a lot about Harry Potter. Yes, the other love of my life (after family and friends, just bellow Gilmore Girls). I'm a fan of the books and the movies, I"ve been compared to Hermione, I have a crush on Ron... need I say more?

What else? I'm picky when it comes to food. I know the songs of Mary Poppins by heart. I am a fan of Reese Witherspoon and love the movie The Man In The Moon. I met Kalan Porter, winner of Canadian Idol 2. I love concerts. I saw U2 in November 2005. I am a huge fan of Sarah McLachlan. I first went on a plane when I was 22, and went twice that year. I have travelled to England. I'm not really into sports. I'm 5'6" and wear glasses. I have been compared to Rory. I am afraid of heights. My favourite colour is pink.
